Osun State Muslim Community congratulates Oyetola, Ajibola Basiru on appointments

The Osun State Muslim Community (OSMC) has congratulated the former governor of the state, Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola, on his nomination and successful Senate screening as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

A release by the President of OSMC Alhaji Mustafa Olawuyi and the Secretary Alhaji Hashim Olapade also felicitated the new National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress APC, Senator Ajibola Basiru on his appointment.

The statement praises the duo as great ambassadors of the state who deserve the support of all to enable them to contribute more and better to the development of the state.

The umbrella body of adherents of Islam in the State lauds President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federation, His Excellency Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu for these laudable appointments as well as the positive disposition and total support the incumbent Governor H E Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke and the three Senators representing the State accorded Alhaji Oyetola during his screening in the red chamber. This is highly commendable, the statement said.

The State Muslim Community therefore charged both Alhaji Isiaka Oyetola and Senator Ajibola Basiru to work in concert with a view to benefitting the people of Osun irrespective of their political leaning, ethnic group and their creed.

The body prays Allah to guide the government at all levels and political functionaries in the State and national levels, to enable them implement policies aimed at making life more bearable for the masses.
