ACE I Oshodi Johnson, the Maiduguri Zonal Commander of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has sought more robust collaboration between other security agencies.
The agencies include the Nigeria Police Force, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency and the judiciary.
Mr Johnson made the call during his special visit to the heads of each of the agencies in Damaturu, Yobe State, on Wednesday, August 2, 2023.
Speaking to the NDLEA Commandant, CN Abdulaziz Kayode Ogungboye, the EFCC boss charged him to sustain the tempo in the fight against drug abuse and ensure the quick transfer of internet fraud suspects arrested by the Agency to the EFCC.
Responding, Commandant Ogungboye reassured of more synergy with the Commission.
Also speaking, The CP of Yobe State stressed that the Commission is set to build a stronger collaboration; “while the Commandant, NSCDC, Adamu Idris assured Johnson of a better working relationship with the Commission.”
