GOCs vow continuous cooperation, working relations
The General Officers Commanding (GOC) of 82 and 6 Divisions of the Nigerian Army have vowed their unceasing working relations and collaborations.
Maj. Gen. H. T. Dada of 82 Division made the revelation on visitation to his counterpart in the 6 Division, Major General Jamal Abdussalam, at Port Harcourt Barracks, Rivers State, today, Wednesday, August 2, 2023.

Maj. Gen. Dada said the newly launched Operation UDO KA, targeting the separatist Biafran group of the South Eastern Region, has called for more robust collaborations between the Divisions, noting that their deadly activities cut across the operational boundaries of Divisions 82 and 6.
Maj. Gen. Abdussalam described the relationship between 6 and 82 Divisions as a sine qua non and inevitable.
The General Officer Commanding 82 Division Nigerian Army, therefore, lauded COAS Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja for Operation UDO KA, stating the activation would go a long way in the fight against IPOB/ESN.
He reassured the Division’s commitment to collaborate and utilize all available resources in combating anti-government and insurgent group.
