Kwara govt swift response to collapsed bridge commended

Kwara state government has been commended for the swift response to the reported bridge collapse in the state.

According to reports the bridge linking Shao-Malete collapsed and it received a swift response from the state government.

While inspecting the ongoing reconstruction of the bridge on Thursday July 20, 2023, the leader representing Ipaye/Oloru/Malete of Moro Local Government, Lawal Ayansola Saliu, commended the swift response of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq on the road.

Ayansola had assured the road users especially the villages along that axis and the Kwara State University Community that the reconstruction would be executed in good record time.

“The sudden collapse of the bridge was as a result of heavy downpour,” Ayansola said.
