APC Stakeholders Endorse Sharafadeen Alli as Consensus Candidate in Oyo

Leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State have adopted Sharafadeen Alli as the party’s consensus governorship candidate ahead of the forthcoming primary election.

The endorsement took place during a high-level stakeholders’ gathering at the Theophilus Ogunlesi Hall in Ibadan, where party chieftains, delegates and supporters from different parts of the state converged to deliberate on the party’s direction ahead of the next governorship election.

The gathering ended with a united declaration of support for Alli, as party leaders stressed the need for cohesion and collective efforts to strengthen the APC’s chances in the state.

Addressing supporters after the adoption, Alli described the endorsement as a demonstration of trust and confidence in his leadership capacity.

“I am deeply honoured by this unanimous decision of our leaders and stakeholders. I do not take this support for granted, and I remain committed to serving the people of Oyo State with dedication and integrity,” he said.

He further assured party members that the APC would continue to pursue programmes and policies aimed at improving the welfare of residents and accelerating development across the state.

According to him, “This is not just about one individual; it is about our shared vision for a progressive, prosperous and united Oyo State. Together, we will continue to work for the growth and advancement of our people.”

Party stakeholders at the meeting also reiterated their resolve to maintain unity within the APC and mobilise support ahead of the governorship election.
