Soldiers besiege Fashola’s residence in Abuja, stop in, out movement

Soldiers of the Nigerian Army have taken seige of the residence of former Minister of Works & Housing, Babatunde Fashola, in Abuja.

The troops barricaded the house, stopping in and out movement into the premise.

The cause of the seige action is yet to be ascertained, however, according to a report from an undisclosed source, there is fear of “a possible miscarriage of justice at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT).

Moreover, as a result of his alleged involvement in drafting a controversial verdict to throw out the cases of the opposition parties LP and PDP.

“It is believed that the former minister would need extra protection at this time as the reports making headlines have been outrightly & vehemently rejected by Nigerians, if at all there’s any truth to the allegation, and could start an uprising targeted at the former Lagos governor,” it added.
