Final batch of stranded Nigerians arrives FCT from Sudan

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has received the final batch of stranded Nigerians in the Sudan war.

The Nigerian Television Authority disclosed this in a statement on Friday, July 28, 2023.

“The final batch of 198 stranded Nigerians from Sudan have arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on board Taco Airline International,” the statement reads.

It noted, “They arrived at exactly 12:09 Nigerian time. Upon arrival the evacuees were subjected to profiling and medical check up.

“The Director General National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Mustache Habib Ahmed personally received the evacuees.”
