OGSG reflects on ex-governor Ajimobi’s departure after 3 years
Prince Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has flashed back to the demise of the former Oyo state governor, Senator Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi, the pioneer founder of the First Technical University in Ibadan, who died on June 25, 2020, at 70, after suffering from Corona virus complications.
Governor Abiodun describes the deceased as an exemplary leader par excellence and somebody whose societal reform while on the earth’s surface can never be forgotten.

He mentioned that his death calls for deep reflection, remembrance and gratitude for the profound impact he made on earth.
“He was a champion of progress, catalyst for positive change and steadfast advocate for the rights and wellbeing of all. His legacies of inclusivity, fairness and equity are worthy of note, not forgetting his passion for equal development and socioeconomic emancipation of his people,” the governor said.
He added, “We would always appreciate and cherish his deep sense of humour, which of course, lingers on in our minds.”
