Gov. Sani hosts traditional rulers, seeks support in combating insecurity
The Kaduna state governor, Senator Uba Sani, has hosted, on Tuesday, group of traditional rulers led by the Emir of Zazzau, HRH Amb. Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, and sought their support in his effort to fight the present security threats in the state.

Gov. Sani revealed this in a statement on Tuesday, June 14, 2023.
While at the event, Gov. Sani mentioned the crucial roles of the royal fathers in the society, restated their impacts on peace establishment and conflict resolution.
The governor called the attention of the distinguished rulers to the urgent need in developing frameworks for effective intelligence gathering at the grassroots to tackle the challenges of insecurity in Kaduna state.
He appreciated them for their backing of the administration’s SUSTAIN agenda, which stands for strengthening safety and security, upgrading infrastructure, strengthening institutions, and enhancing trade and investment.
“The revered leaders not only congratulated me on my emergence as the Governor of Kaduna State, they expressed support for our administration, and committed themselves to assisting the government to deliver on its SUSTAIN Agenda,” the governor said.
He added, “I assure our Royal Fathers that under my watch, the traditional institution will retain its pride of place.”
Gov. Sani concludes by seeking their support and cooperation to enable him to quicken the pace of development.
