New batch of evacuees arrives in FCT from Sudan
One hundred and twenty-five Nigerian evacuees from the Sudan war-torn have safely arrived at Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NIDCOM disclosed in a statement on May 13, 2023.
The commission mentioned that the new arrival marks the successful evacuation of the 15th batch of Nigerian students trapped in the unceasing crisis in Sudan.
“125 Nationals that departed Port Sudan International Airport, landed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 12noon local time on May 13 via Tarco Air.
“Making a total of 2,371 evacuees so far. Again, No Nigerian life has been lost so far,” the commission added.
