You Have Made Us Proud, Tinubu Tells Son Seyi at 40

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has celebrated his son, Seyi Tinubu, on the occasion of his 40th birthday, describing him as a man of focus, courage, and humility who has made his family and the nation proud.

In a heartfelt message personally signed by the President, Tinubu expressed gratitude to Almighty God for Seyi’s life and the man he has become, noting his consistent commitment to service, innovation, and the upliftment of others.

“Today, as you turn forty, I thank Almighty God for your life and the man you have become. You have walked your path with focus, courage, and humility, and you have done so with a heart that seeks to build, serve, and uplift others,” the President wrote.

Recalling his son’s early years, Tinubu said Seyi demonstrated leadership and determination from a young age. He commended him for turning ideas into institutions and challenges into opportunities, adding that true success is not measured by wealth or power but by the impact one makes on others.

“From an early age, you have shown determination and a desire to create and lead. In business and in service, you have shown that true success is not measured by wealth or power but by the impact we make and the lives we touch,” he stated.

The President described 40 as a defining age that combines youthful energy with maturity, applauding Seyi for carrying his name with honour and staying true to the values of discipline, integrity, and hard work.

Tinubu also praised his son’s devotion as a husband and father, and his commitment to making a difference in his generation, saying the entire family is proud of him.

“As you celebrate this milestone, remember that your strength lies in what you achieve and how you inspire others to believe in themselves. May God bless you with wisdom, good health, and peace,” Tinubu added.
