NNPC, Dangote Refinery Resolve Feud, Pledge Collaboration for Nigeria’s Benefit

The Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd), Bayo Ojulari, announced that the longstanding feud between NNPC and the Dangote Refinery has been resolved.
Mr Ojulari said this in an interview on Monday on the BBC Hausa Service broadcast.
Speaking on the development, Mr. Ojulari praised Aliko Dangote’s bold investments in Africa, emphasizing the importance of collaboration for Nigeria’s energy sector.
“We, as Nigerians, must hail Dangote’s courageous efforts. Whatever he is investing, he is doing it in Africa. We have addressed the feud between the NNPC and the Dangote Refinery. Very soon, people will start seeing the impact, he stated.
Highlighting the positive outcome of their resolution, Mr. Ojulari assured that the cooperation would yield immediate benefits. “Very soon, people will start seeing the impact. Marketers will buy fuel at the refinery any time they want. If there are any obstacles, we will address them,” he said.
The GCEO expressed optimism for a unified approach toward strengthening the energy sector. “It won’t be in the news anymore that NNPC and Dangote are fighting; now, we are working together for the interests of Nigerians,” he concluded.
This collaboration marks a significant step in ensuring a seamless supply of refined fuel products while fostering synergy between key players in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.
