Former Kwara Head of Service, Susan Oluwole, passes away
Mrs. Susan Modupe Oluwole, the immediate past Head of Service (HoS) in Kwara State, has passed away at the age of 59.
Reports indicate that she died at the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Oluwole was appointed as Kwara’s Head of Service in 2017 under the administration of Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed and retired from government service in 2024.
A graduate of the University of Ilorin, she succeeded Hajia Zarah Omar as HoS and previously served as the Permanent Secretary in charge of Service Welfare in the Office of the Head of Service before her promotion to the top administrative position.
Her passing marks the end of a distinguished career in public service, leaving behind a legacy of dedication to the Kwara State civil service.
