Elerin of Erin-ile Kingdom installs Alhaji Lateef Olawale Busari as 17th Eesa in brimming tradition

In a ceremony brimming with tradition and significance, His Royal Majesty Oba Jimoh Adebowale Adesoye stood before the citizens of Erin-ile, as he installed Alhaji Lateef Olawale Busari as the 17th Eesa of Erin-ile Kingdom in Oyun Local Government of Kwara State.
The momentous occasion was the first chief-making ceremony under his rule, marking a pivotal point in his reign.
The presentation of the certificate and the formal ceremony took place at the Elerin’s Palace, where High Chief Abdul-Kareem Kolawole Tajudeen, Saaba Erin-ile, performed the traditional rite, placing ceremonial leaves on the newly installed High Chief Eesa.
The event was attended by the Elerin in Council and other distinguished guests, further elevating the importance of the occasion.
In his address, High Chief Eesa Alhaji Lateef Olawale Busari expressed his deep gratitude to His Majesty Oba Jimoh Adebowale Adesoye for the honor and also wished him prosperity throughout his reign.
He extended his heartfelt appreciation to the entire High Chiefs of Erin-ile, well-wishers, and the people of Erin-ile for their unwavering support.
The ceremony marked a new chapter in the kingdom’s leadership, one that resonates with tradition and hope for the future.
Erin-Ile is a town and agrarian community in the Oyun LGA of Kwara State, Nigeria.
The town was formerly the local government headquarters of Oyun before it was moved to the town of Ilemona.
