The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR, has resumed his royal duties in the Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State, after a three-week holiday in Turkey.

His return was marked by a warm reception from the people of the Emirate, who gathered to celebrate the safe arrival of their revered leader.

The Emir, accompanied by key officials, including his spokesman, Mallam AbdulAziz Arowona, and personal assistant, Muritala Raheem, was greeted by an enthusiastic crowd of sons and daughters of the Ilorin Emirate.

The atmosphere was filled with gratitude and joy as well-wishers offered prayers for the monarch’s continued safety, good health, and successful leadership.

The holiday, in the European country, is seen as a rare period of rest for the traditional ruler, whose role involves significant responsibilities in fostering unity, promoting cultural values, and maintaining peace in the Emirate.

His return signifies the continuation of these duties, as residents look forward to his leadership in addressing community development and other pressing matters.
