“Dirty, stinky, smelly armpit,” Dami, ex-wife of Alaafin of Oyo reveals bad days with Portable
Dami, the former wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, has expressed regret over her unceremonious relationship with controversial singer Portable.
Speaking during a live Instagram interview, Dami said her over-two-year entanglement with the singer following the Alaafin’s demise was laced with bad experiences.
Dami refuted Portable’s accusations of promiscuity and involvement in her late husband’s death, clarifying that she had already separated from the Alaafin before his illness and passing.
She described feeling trapped in an unhealthy dynamic with Portable, stating, “No wonder I woke up one day and told myself I had to leave this boy. How could someone use charms on me? I didn’t even know I was in bondage all this time. I was used all this time—dirty, stinky, smelly armpit.”
Portable accused Dami of infidelity and casting spells on him, prompting her to publicly announce the breakup on Instagram, writing, “Alhamdulilahi, I’m done. This is too much for me.”
The fallout escalated when Portable released a diss track titled Bye-bye to Jaga Jaga, mocking Dami and sharing videos of himself dancing to the song.
Both parties have aired accusations of abuse and betrayal, with Dami alleging physical mistreatment and humiliation during their relationship.
The public feud has drawn significant attention online, fueling discussions about their controversial relationship.
