Video: Dele Momodu exposes shocking $30,000 payouts to each delegate in 2022 PDP presidential primary
A video featuring media personality and politician Dele Momodu has surfaced, where he alleged that one of the candidates in the 2022 People’s Democratic Party (PDP) primary elections paid as much as $30,000 per delegate.
In the clip, shared with credit to Eden Oasis, Momodu revealed: “There was one of the candidates who paid as high as $30,000 per delegate during the 2022 PDP primary, and we had 774 delegates.”
This statement is a reflection of the staggering sums reportedly spent in the contest to secure votes from delegates across the country.
As of now, there has been no official response from the PDP or the candidate implicated in the allegations. However, the video has drawn significant attention on social media, with many Nigerians calling for reforms to address the role of money in party primaries and elections.
