Arsenal skipper back in training after two-month absence
Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard is back in training following a two-month injury absence as the Gunners prepare to take on Inter Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday.
“Arsenal fans will be extremely pleased,” said former Arsenal striker Alan Smith on Sky Sports News. “It’s coming at a good time, with Arsenal suffering a little bit.
“They have missed him, their playmaker, their captain. There are not many players in the world like him, somebody who can find a key to the door. That door has been shut a few too many times for Arsenal’s liking.
“Whether he is fit enough to start is another matter, but just to see him in and amongst it at the training ground, that will give everybody a lift.”
