In a viral video clip that surfaced on X.com recently, Sunnberger cited her Canadian citizenship as a safeguard, highlighting the differences between the Canadian and Nigerian legal systems.

“See am now, I dey house, why I go dey lie?
A video surfaced on Tuesday, capturing Amaka Sunnberger making threatening remarks against Yoruba and Benin indigenes during a TikTok virtual meeting.
The woman, purporting to be a resident of Ontario, Canada, made disturbing comments, vowing to cause harm to people from the aforementioned ethnic groups if she encountered them.
This inflammatory video sparked outrage and prompted the Nigerian House of Representatives to request her prosecution
The lower chamber of the Nigerian National Assembly has officially called for her investigation from the Canadian government over for her inciting comments, which it said violate international and Canadian laws.
