Just in: Nigerian authority identifies woman in viral video calling for poisoning of Yoruba, Edo people

The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) says it has identified the woman in a viral video calling for poisoning of Yoruba, Edo people

Afri Reporters reported earlier that a Nigerian woman residing in Canada sparked outrage on social media after making inciting calls for the poisoning of her fellow compatriots in a viral TikTok video.

The woman, identified was heard in the live clip urging the poisoning of the food and water of the Yoruba and Benin people.

It doesn’t end there, she vowed to add rat-killing poisons in water and food to facilitate the gradual killing of her perceived foes as she justified her dislike for the tribes.

The footage has since gone viral, garnering thousands of views and widespread sharing online.

Reacting to the viral video, Abike Dabiri Erewa, Chairman, of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), said the woman has been identified as Amaka Patience Sunnberger.

She added that the Amaka had been officially reported to the Canadian authorities as she applauded those who called the attention of the commission to the inciting viral footage.

She said, “This is the picture of the lady behind the voice.Amaka Patience Sunnberger. She has deleted her TikTok account and a group of Nigerians in Canada are reporting her officially to the relevant authorities in Canada . Thanks for alerting everyone.”
