Video: Chelsea’s Cole Palmer breaks silence after lack of playing time in Euro ’24
Chelsea star forward, Cole Palmer says he found it tough not starting for England at the recently concluded Euro 2024.
The player, who committed himself to Chelsea by signing a two-year contract extension which sees him tied to the club until the summer of 2033, was one of the top performers in the 2023/23 Premier League season.
The 22-year-old England forward enjoyed a stellar Premier League season as he contributed to 33 goals, scoring 22 times for the London club.
While commenting on his Euro 2024 outing for the Three Lions, Palmer told Sky Sports that “It was difficult not playing.”
Despite lack of good playing time, Cole Palmer brought England level in the Euro 2024 final against Spain but his goal was never enough to seal the win for his country.
