Hon. Olayinka Kazeem Esho calls on Mushin constituents to embrace dialogue, support President Tinubu’s administration

In a statement made available by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Muritala Salami, Hon. Olayinka Kazeem Esho, Member, Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Mushin Constituency II, today called on all constituents to reject the proposed 10-day protest starting tomorrow and instead embrace peace dialogue.

According to the statement, Hon. Esho emphasized the need for peaceful resolution of grievances, citing the devastating aftermath of the recent #EndSARS experience. “We must learn from our past mistakes and avoid repeating them,” he warned.

The statement highlighted the disadvantages of protesting at this time, including economic instability, security risks, divided nation, and delayed progress. “Protests will only lead to more suffering and hardship for our people,” Hon. Esho said.

He urged his constituents to support the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration, citing the new leadership, reform agenda, and inclusive governance. “President Tinubu has demonstrated a commitment to addressing our grievances and building a better future for Nigeria,” he said.

Hon. Esho emphasized the importance of giving the administration a chance to deliver on its promises. “We must be patient and allow the government to work towards solving our problems,” he said.

He encouraged his constituents to engage constructively with the government, stating, “We must work together to build a better future for ourselves and generations to come.”

The statement praised the President’s efforts to address the nation’s challenges, including the establishment of the Presidential Committee on Youth Empowerment and the National Youth Investment Fund.

Hon. Esho commended the government’s initiatives to improve security, infrastructure, and economic development, stating, “These efforts demonstrate the administration’s commitment to building a better Nigeria.”

He appealed to his constituents to shun violence and embrace peace, stating, “Peace is the foundation of progress. Without peace, we cannot achieve our goals.”
