King Salman rushed for urgent medical checks amid prevailing medical challenges
The King of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, will undergo crucial medical examinations at the Royal Clinics in Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah after he suffered some medical challenges.
According to an official statement released from the Kingdom, the King, who is also the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the Islamic world, is experiencing a high temperature and joint pain.
The statement added that the medical team has decided to conduct several tests to diagnose his condition and monitor his health.
The statement reads, “The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud will undergo medical examinations today at the Royal Clinics in Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah, as he- may Allah protect him. He suffers from a high temperature and pain in the joints. The treating medical team decided to conduct some examinations to diagnose his health condition and to check on his health.”
As the 25th son of King Abdulaziz, the founder of Saudi Arabia, he assumed the throne on 23 January 2015.
Before he emerged as the King, he was Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia from 18 June 2012 to 23 January 2015.
Salman is the third oldest living head of state, and he is reported to worth at least $18 billion, which makes him the third wealthiest royal in the world and one of the wealthiest individuals in the world
