Just in: Nigeria Police nab alleged mastermind of Kaduna-Abuja train

The Nigeria Police have announced the arrest of the alleged mastermind of the killing of passengers of the 2022 Abuja-Kaduna train.
The suspect was identified as Ibrahim Abdullahi, popularly known as Moniker Mandi, Daily Post reports.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the suspect also took part in the abduction of students from Greenfield University in 2021.
48 AK-47 rifles were seized during the arrest of the notorious suspect.
The Nigeria Police affirmed that efforts are ongoing to arrest those who are bankrolling his activities just as his supplier of weapons.
The Abuja-Kaduna train came under attack in March 2022 with armed men setting off explosives to derail the train carrying 362 passengers.
Despite the presence of armed policemen on board, they managed to kidnap over 100 of the passengers and killed at least eight people in the attack.
Several passengers who were taken hostage were freed in batches following negotiations and payment of ransom to the terrorists after the attack.
