Kwara governor praises Emir of Ilorin as royal father turns 84
The Kwara State governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has congratulated the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Council of Chiefs, His Royal Highness, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari for witnessing another year alive and on the throne.
In his birthday message, the state governor who is also the Chairman of the Governors’ Forum, applauds the first class monarch for his unwavering dedication to the growth and development of our state, and his tireless efforts to promote peace, harmony, and unity in Kwara State.
He prays Allaah continues to strengthen the royal father in his service to his people.
The statement reads, “On behalf of the people and government of Kwara State, I rejoice with the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Council of Chiefs His Royal Highness Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari as he turns 84 today.
“I commend the first class monarch for his profound dedication to the growth and development of our state, and his tireless efforts to promote peace, harmony, and unity in Kwara.
“Mai Martaba the Emir of Ilorin has remained a father to all while also deploying his rich experiences and networks to support not just the people of the Ilorin Emirate but also the people of the state as a whole.
“I pray to Allaah to give His Royal Highness good health and long life, and continue to uphold him upon goodness in his service to the people of the Emirate.”
