Reports from local Ethiopian media depict a harrowing picture of horrific events, including brutal killings, bombings, and kidnappings, instilling fear within the Muslim community.
The most recent incident unfolded in the city of Bahir Dar, where innocent individuals were ruthlessly gunned down following evening prayers.
Violent outbreaks have been recorded in the cities of Mota and Gonder, further exacerbating the precarious situation.
According to the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs in the Amhara region, the toll of the attacks has been devastating, with more than 80 lives lost and countless others displaced, forced to flee their homes in the wake of heinous crimes.
