Kwara: Petrol tanker spillage sparks fire risk on Asadam Road

A statement by the HOD Kwara State Fire Service, Hassan Hakeem Adekunle reads, “Please be advised to seek an alternate route due to an incident involving a petrol tanker detachment from its vehicle head near Eucharistic Secondary School, opposite Coca Cola junction, Ilorin. The tanker was carrying 50,000 liters of PMS, and petrol is currently gushing out, posing a risk of fire outbreak.
“The Kwara State Fire Service are on-site to manage the situation and prevent any potential hazards. Your cooperation and caution will be greatly appreciated.”
