Gov Abdulrahman celebrates as Kwara citizen makes list of Apple security researcher
Offa-born cyber security expert Yunus Oyetunde, also known as Coy Emerald, has been recognized as the sole Nigerian featured in Apple’s list of security researchers for 2024.
Oyetunde, the founder of O-range Ethical Hacking Class, has previously received accolades from major tech companies such as Google, Microsoft, Branch, and DROOM for his exceptional skills and contributions to the field of cyber security.
Reacting to the achievement of the youngster, the Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, expressed pride in Oyetunde’s accomplishments, highlighting his role as a positive influence amidst global efforts to combat internet and social media misuse.
The governor I also extended hearty congratulations to Mr. Yusuf AbdulBaki on his pace-setting achievement as the pioneer first class graduate of Mechanical Engineering from Usman Dan Fodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS).
He said, “I congratulate Offa-born cyber security whiz Yunus Oyetunde (Coy Emerald) on his emergence as the only Nigerian mentioned in the recently published list of Apple security researchers for 2024.
“Oyetunde, an accomplished techie, founded O-range Ethical Hacking Class. His skills have previously been acknowledged by Google, Microsoft, Branch, and DROOM.
The people and government of Kwara State are proud to associate with the young techie who chooses to be a positive inspiration at a time the world fights off the misuse of the internet and social media.
