“Revisit Iyemoja to report Tinubu and current economic hardship” — Nigerians tell Nollyhood actor Olaiya Igwe

Nigerians have told renowned Nollyhood movie star, Ebun Oloyede, popularly known as Olaiya Igwe, to revisit the river goddess (Iyemoja) to report President Bola Tinubu and the current economic hardship plaguing his administration.

The reactions followed the pre-presidential election nude video of the actor at the Lagos beach where he invoked the spirit in support of the President Bola Tinubu.

The actor has now faced renewed attention as Nigerians call on him to revisit Iyemoja in light of the current economic challenges.

This appeal comes as the current economic hardship forced the video to resurface, gaining traction on social media.

The video, a poignant reminder of Igwe’s past endorsement, has ignited widespread discussions and reactions across various online platforms.

This garnered public attention in the year 2023 for extolling the generosity of Bola Tinubu.

Elevating his support to an unprecedented level, Igwe released a video featuring himself in a state of undress on a beach, fervently praying for Tinubu’s success.

Crediting Tinubu with saving him during a health crisis, the actor incorporated theatrical elements reminiscent of Yoruba movie traditions, invoking the river god in a distinctive display of support.

However, Instagram swiftly responded by deleting the actor’s account, citing a violation of the platform’s rules on nudity and obscenity.

Social media users have now stated calling Olaiya Igwe to invoke the same spirit to strike Tinliubu.

In his reaction, another concerned Nigerian, Al Monsur Olanrewaju, wrote, “Actor Olaiya Igwe the time is now, please God (sic) back to beach and report the situation of Nigeria 🇳🇬 🙏 to iyemoja maybe there will be a solution 😀 Ire ooooooooooooooooo.
