Breaking: AFCON tickets for Côte d’Ivoire – Nigeria sold out 

Tickets for Thursday’s TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire 2023 fixture between Côte d’Ivoire and Nigeria are sold out.

The Confederation of African Football, CAF, announced this in a statement ahead of the Titans between the two African giants.

The match will be decided at 17h00 today at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium, which boasts a maximum approved holding capacity of 50,000 seats.

The statement said, “We are pleased to announce that tickets for today’s TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire 2023 fixture between Côte d’Ivoire and Nigeria are sold out.

“The overwhelming response from fans has led to a sold out match at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium, Ebimpe.

“The match is scheduled to be played at 17h00 today at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium, which boasts a maximum approved holding capacity of 50,000 seats.

“This figure represents the total number of tickets that were available for sale, all of which have been purchased.”

The game is a must win for Nigeria after the Super Eagles started their AFCON campaign with a draw against Equatorial Guinea.

For the Ivorians, a win for them against the Super Eagles of Nigerian will give them a comfortable lead in group A.
