Kwara meets standard of women’s inclusion in politics — UN Deputy Secretary-General

The United Nations Deputy Secretary-General, Amina Mohammed has appraised the political formulation in Kwara State with a cabinet comprised of 50 percent women.

She stated this during her meeting with Kwara state governor AbdurRahman AbdulrRasaq in New York City, in the United States of America.

The meeting was on the sidelines of the 78th UN General Assembly.

Mohammed commended the governor for demonstrating women’s inclusion in politics and governance in Nigeria, adding that he has set the pace for other governors to follow.

“Kwara State has a cabinet composed of 50 percent women,” said governor AbdulrRasaq.

Mallam AbdurRahman AbdulrRasaq was accompanied by the Nigerian billionaire business mogul, the Chief Executive Officer of BUA Group Abdulsamad Isyaku Rabiu.
