Yusuf Liman emerges as Chairman, Northern Speakers Forum
The Honourable Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Yusuf Liman has been nominated as the Chairman of Northern Speakers forum in Nigeria.
His emergence followed the unanimous support from the Speakers of 19 northern states.
Rt Hon Liman thanked all the speakers for their trust in him and in extension, the executive governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Uba Sani.
He stated that his leadership would foster collaboration and sustainable development in the northern states.
“This prestigious position will allow us to spearhead initiatives that promote collaboration, unity, and effective governance within the entire North and Nigeria at large,” Liman said.
He added, “As Chairman, I will work closely with arms of government across the northern states to address critical issues and advocate for the interests of the region. With a commitment to inclusivity and innovation, we will work to foster positive change and drive sustainable development.”
He maintained that he is dedicated to working closely with fellow Honorable Speakers and stakeholders to create a stronger and more prosperous region.
He pledged that under his stewardship, the Northern Speakers forum is poised to make significant strides in promoting dialogue, cooperation, and progress within the 19 northern state.
