The chairman of Nigeria governors’ forum and governor of Kwara state, His Excellency Mallam AbdurRahman AbdulrRasaq has condoled with the family of late former military administrator (MILAD), Salaudeen Adebola Latinwo, who died on Saturday.

While at the deceased’s residence, the NGF chairman stated that the late ambassador, during his lifetime, contributed his quota to national progress and development.

Group Captain Salaudeen served as the military leader in Kwara state between January 1984 and August 1985. He hailed from Offa, in Kwara state.

The Governor was received in Offa by the Latinwos and some APC chieftains, including former Commissioner for Energy, Hon. Femi Whyte Agbaje.

“On behalf of the state government, we commiserate with you over the death of the late administrator. He served the nation as an officer, and he also served the state as a Governor. His legacies are there forever.

“What we can say is that may Allah grant him Al-jannah Firdaus. Those of us that he left behind, especially the immediate and extended family, may Allah give us the fortitude to bear the loss,” Mallam AbdurRazaq restated.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Alhaji Lateef Latinwo, a younger brother of the deceased, appreciated Mr Governor for the visit and the support he has shown so far in his administration.

Earlier before the visit, Governor AbdurRasaq received the corpse of Nigeria’s former Ambassador to France, Kayode Laro, at the General Tunde Idiagbon International Airport in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara state.
