Borno: Zulum swears-in, posts 17 commissioners, 3 chief advisers, perm sec
Borno Governor Babagana Umara Zulum presided over the oath-taking and swearing-in ceremony of newly appointed Commissioners, Chief Advisers, and one Permanent Secretary in the Borno state civil service.
The swearing-in ceremony was held today at the Multipurpose Hall of the Government House in Maiduguri.
Administering oath and allegiance of office to the appointees, Borno Chief Justice Kashim Zannah started with the swearing-in of the 17 commissioners, next by the Chief Advisers, namely Ambassador Adamu Abbas, Hajjia Mairo Mandira, Barr Simon Malgwi, and one Permanent Secretary, Barr Mustapah Ali Busuguma.
The event was graced by various dignitaries of the All Progressives Congress, APC, party including the Vice President Kashim Shettima.
Others present were Borno party chairman, Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori, the Speaker of the Borno State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abdulkarim Lawan, the Former Deputy Governor, Members of the National and State Assemblies, Transition Chairmen of Local Government Areas across the state, Traditional leaders led by the Shehu of Dikwa, state security chiefs, Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, Special Advisers, Special Assistants, Permanent Secretaries, and other dignitaries.
