FG orders ministerial nominees to round off documentation on Sunday
Following the transmission of the 28 ministerial nominees list to the Senate for screening and confirmation on Thursday, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (Senate), Senator Abdullahi Gumel, has ordered the ministerial nominees to wind up all documentation by Sunday.

Gumel disclosed that the decision became necessary in order to make adequate preparation for their screening exercise, which is slated for Monday, 31st of July, 2023.
According to him, ‘Nominees are to submit required documents to his office located at the National Assembly over the weekend.’
He added, ‘The purpose is to ensure a hitch-free exercise.’
