Wrestlers Oburududu, Kolawole, win gold medals in Tunisia
Nigerian wrestlers, Blessing Oburududu and Esther Kolawole have emerged winners at the 2nd African Beach Games in Tunisia.
Oburududu won gold medal in the women’s 70+kg beach wrestling category while her counterpart Kolawole won the same in the 60+kg category.
Reacting to their successes, Tony Nezianya, the Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Olympic Committee, Nigeria, acknowledged their tremendous efforts in reaching this stage of achievements.

Also reacting, Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, the second runner up to VP Kashim Shettima in the last presidential election, congratulates the Deltan award winner, Blessing Oborududu, on her remarkable achievements.
“It is an incredibly proud moment for both Delta State and Nigeria as a whole,” he said.
He added, “Her gold medal in the women’s 70+kg beach wrestling is a true testament to her extraordinary skills, determination, and tireless dedication to the sport.
“I would also like to extend my deepest congratulations to Esther Kolawole for her outstanding performance and gold medal in the women’s 60+kg beach wrestling category.”
