Ronaldo confers 200 International Appearance Award
The global star, Cristiano Ronaldo, has achieved another remarkable milestone as the first footballer to cap a team in 200 international appearances.
The Guinness World Record (GWR) confers him the certificate ahead of his country’s (Portugal’s) clash against Iceland on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.

Ronaldo’s score in the 89th minute marked Selecao das Quinas, the Portugal national football team’s qualification for the 2024 UEFA European Championship League.
The legend has won five Ballon d’Or awards, five UEFA Champions Leagues, and 32 trophies throughout his career as a professional player.
He becomes the first European footballer to merit five golden shoes and holds the records for most appearances (183), goals (140), and assists (42) in the Champions League, goals in the European Championship (14), international goals (123), and international appearances (200).
