French Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomes President Tinubu to Paris
Following President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s arrival in Paris, the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has welcomed him to the summit on the Global Financing Pact.
Dele Alak, the spokesperson for the president, revealed this on Tuesday, April 20, 2023.
According to him, Mr President’s plane landed at the Paris embassy at exactly 6.47 p.m. Nigerian time and was received by top government officials, including Ambassador Kayode Laro and Adamu Lamuwa, among others, at the airport.

He added that President Tinubu will hold a brief meeting on Nigeria’s stance on the summit with the ambassadors as well as leaders and multilateral institutions.
“The President will participate in a two-day Summit, June 22nd and 23rd, that looks at opportunities to restore fiscal space to countries that face difficult short-term financial challenges, especially the most indebted, mobilize innovative financing for countries vulnerable to climate change and economies struggling with the effects of Covid-19 and energy crisis,” he said.
