Uzodimma emerges new chairman South-East Governors’ Forum
Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has emerged as the new leader of the South-East Governors’ Forum.
This was disclosed in a statement after a meeting held at the Imo state governor’s lodge, Abuja, on Thursday, June 15, 2023, which consists of all the governors in the region.
It was said that the governor was elected unanimously to take up the mantle of leadership.
Gov. Uzodinma resumed office in 2020, following the invalidation of former governor Emeka Ihedioha’s of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) election by the apex court in Nigeria.
