Kith and Kin Schools celebrates students’ excellent performance in UTME, organises special treat at Radisson Blu

An international school in the Ikorodu area of Lagos, Kith and Kin Educational Schools has celebrated the outstanding performance of its students in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

This was disclosed to Afri Reporters on Monday by the school Principal, Mr Julius Oregbesan.

According to the principal, the school management decided to organise a special treat to celebrate students who scored 300 and above in the examination. He revealed that the treat was held at Radisson Hotel Ikeja, Lagos State.

Mr Oregbesan stated that the initiative is aimed at promoting the “culture of excellence in the school”.

“Celebrating the culture of excellence at Radisson Hotel Ikeja. Our students who scored 300 and above in the UTME were taken to Radisson Hotel today for a special treat,” the principal said.

He added, “This was done to motivate them further to perform excellently well in the coming external examinations: (WAEC/NECO).

“The purpose is also to raise them as a reference and exemplary leaders that will motivate all other students to remain committed and work towards excellent performance in learning and character.”

He continued that “The parents and students had a nice time at the venue.”

“We also appreciate the college Chief Learning Officer, Chief Kaoli Olusanya and the Executive Director, Chief (Mrs) Kemi Olusanya, for this special initiative,” the principal concluded.
