Itesiwaju Ikirun Commiserates with Hon. Awotunde Sarafa and Hon. Wahab Abiona Over Family Losses

The socio-cultural group, Itesiwaju Ikirun, has extended condolences to two prominent sons of Ikirunland, Hon. Otunba Abiodun Sarafadeen Awotunde and Hon. Wahab Abiona, who recently lost close family members.
In a statement signed by the group’s President, Alhaji Khalid Ibrahim, and Secretary, Comrade Adebiyi Wasiu, Itesiwaju Ikirun described the losses as deeply painful and prayed for divine comfort for the bereaved families.
Hon. Awotunde Sarafa, a respected community leader, recently lost his younger brother, Awotunde Muideen Olalekan. The group commiserated with him, praying that Almighty Allah grants the deceased eternal rest in Al-Jannah Firdaus and gives the family patience to bear the loss.
Similarly, Itesiwaju Ikirun conveyed its sympathies to Hon. Wahab Abiona, a committed member of the association, who lost his mother. The group prayed for Allah’s mercy upon her soul and for strength and peace for the family.
The statement added, “Itesiwaju Ikirun prays that Almighty Allah surrounds both families with patience, mercy, and peace during these challenging times. We stand united with you in grief and in prayer for the repose of the departed souls.”
The association praised both men for their dedication to the development of Ikirunland and reaffirmed its solidarity with them in this period of mourning.
