LASU Boosts Digital Learning with New 350-Seat CBT Centre

Lagos State University (LASU) has taken a major step in enhancing its ICT infrastructure with the launch of a self-owned 350-seat Computer-Based Test (CBT) Centre.
The facility, located on the ground floor of the newly built LASU Central Library in Ojo, was inspected by the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, alongside the management team on Monday, March 17, 2025.
The cutting-edge centre is equipped with 350 internet-enabled laptops and a dedicated server room, providing a seamless examination environment for students. This development eliminates the previous reliance on rented CBT facilities, ensuring greater efficiency and reliability in the conduct of examinations.
During the inspection, the Vice-Chancellor was accompanied by the Director of the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (DICT), Prof. Toyin Enikuomehin. The team also assessed the holding bay, a designated area for students awaiting their examination sessions.
The initiative underscores LASU’s commitment to digital transformation and academic excellence, reinforcing its position as a leading institution in technology-driven learning and assessment.
