Waldrum lists 21 players for Super Falcons vs Cameroon Olympic qualifier
Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum, has announced a 21-player roster for the team’s upcoming 2024 Olympic Games third qualifying round match against Cameroon.
This marks Waldrum’s return to the sidelines since guiding the Super Falcons to the Round of 16 at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
Several players are also making a comeback to the squad following their participation in the last World Cup.
Asisat Oshoala, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Rasheedat Ajibade, Michelle Alozie Toni Payne and other key players were listed in the roaster.
The most successful women’s football team in Africa are set to take on Cameroon in the first leg at the Stade de la Reunification in Douala, Cameroon, scheduled for Friday, February 23rd.
The second leg match will be held at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Monday, February 26th.
