Breaking: Abuja notorious kidnapper, Chinasa Philips, lands in Police net following special operation

The Nigeria Police Force has announced the arrest of a notorious Abuja kidnapper, Chinaza Phillip, following a special operation. 

A statement by the PPRO of the FCT Police Command, SP Josephine Adeh,

confirmed that the popular kidnapper was arrested by police operatives of the Kaduna State Police Command on Thursday 18th January, 2024. 

It added that the suspect has been handed over to FCT police Command for further investigation. 

“The FCT Police Command wishes to confirm the arrest of one Chinaza Phillip, a notorious Abuja kidnapper by police operatives of the Kaduna State Police Command on Thursday 18th January, 2024.

“The suspect has been handed over to FCT police Command today being Friday 19th January, 2024, and currently in police custody,” ” the statement explained.

Nigeria has been facing rising cases of kidnapping, with armed gangs abducting individuals from villages, highways, and farmlands for ransom.

The government has vowed to stamped out the menace while seeking the support of the citizens to halt the ugly trend.
