Lagos: House confirms commissioners, special advisers nominees
The Lagos State House of Assembly led by the Honourable Speaker Mudashiru A. Obasa has confirmed fifteen out of seventeenth nominees forwarded by the governor, HE Babajide Sanwo Olu.
This was contained in a statement by the Chief Whip of the House, Hon. Mojeed Fatai on Thursday, September 7, 2023.
According to him, the presentation is the outcome of the 12-man Ad Hoc Committee on screening of the new list of the Governor’s Nominees for Commissioners and Special Advisers.
The status of the nominees are presented as follows:

2. Mr. Oluwaseun Oriyomi Osiyemi – Confirmed
3. Prof. Akinola Emmanuel Abayomi – Confirmed

5. Mrs. Folashade Kaosarat Ambrose-Medem – Confirmed
6. Mr. Akinyemi Bankole Ajigbotafe – Confirmed
7. Mrs. Bolaji Cécilia Dada – Confirmed
8. Mrs. Barakat Akande Bakare – Confirmed
9. Mr. Olugbenga Omotosho – Confirmed
10. Mr. Mosopefoluwa George – Confirmed
11. Dr. Yekini Nurudeen Agbaje – Confirmed

The Speaker thereby directed the Clerk of the House to convey the list of confirmed nominees to Mr Babajide Sanwo Olu.
