Salah going nowhere! Klopp says Egyptian star committed despite tempting £200m Saudi bid
Liverpool tactician, Jurgen Klopp, says Mohamed Salah is ‘super committed’ to Liverpool despite the mouth-watering £200m ($252m) bid from Saudi side Al-Ittihad.
Despite a rumored £200 million bid from a Saudi Pro League club, Liverpool manager Klopp remains convinced that the Egyptian forward will stay at the club where he has been at the top of his game for several seasons.
Klopp also stated that he has no concerns about Salah’s concentration in the coming weeks.
Klopp told journalists ahead of Sunday’s fixture against Aston Villa that “Mo (Salah) is super committed, really in training fully there.
“And in the leadership meetings this week he was fully in. I have to deal with facts, and my fact is: ‘All good, we are here and everything is fine’ “.
The Premier League side rejected an initial £150m offer for Mohamed Salah from Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad.
Liverpool remained adamant that the Egyptian international is not for sale for any amount.
Salah has started all three of Liverpool’s games this season.
The team stands 4th on the log with seven points following a draw with Chelsea and wins against Bournemouth and Newcastle United.
