Katsina state governor inaugurates four judges

The Katsina State governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, has sworn-in four new honourable justices into the state judiciary arms of government.

The oath of affirmation was administered at an event held at the state house on Tuesday, 15th August 2023.

The judges are Nuraddeen Abdulmumin, Halima Lawal Bagiwa, Abdullahi Bara’u Faskari and Sanusi Ma’aruf Amiru.

In his remark, Governor Radda expressed his dedication to the improvement of the judiciary system, stressing the need for effective functions of the Criminal Justice System in the state.

He charged the Nigerian Bar Association to warn its members who are fond of supporting criminals (bandits, rapists and armed robbers) by securing their bail through fundamental human rights enforcement.

The governor reinstated the “track record of professionalism, dedication, and integrity as confirmed through the rigorous, competitive and painstaking process that led to their appointment, urging them to see it as a call to action.
