Gov Adeleke names Deji Bello as DG for development partners

The Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has announced the appointment of Engr. Deji Bello as the Director-General of Development Partners on Programmes and Projects. This decision was communicated through an official letter dated July 6, 2023, and signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alh Kazeem Akinleye.

Engr. Deji Bello, an alumnus of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) and holder of a Master of Science degree from the United States of America, hails from Iwo and was previously an aspirant for the Ayiwola federal constituency.

In the appointment letter, it stated, “I am pleased to inform you that the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has graciously approved your appointment as the Director-General of Development Partners (Programmes and Projects) with immediate effect.

“It is hoped that this gesture will be reciprocated by ensuring that development partners are brought into the State to boost the development of the State in all ramifications.”

Engr. Deji Bello’s new role as the Director-General of Development Partners on Programmes and Projects signifies the government’s commitment to collaborating with external organizations and agencies to drive comprehensive development initiatives in Osun State. His vast educational background and previous involvement in political activities position him well to take on this responsibility.

As the Director-General, Engr. Bello will be tasked with establishing and maintaining partnerships with development organizations, both nationally and internationally, to enhance the State’s developmental efforts.
