Two Nollywood Actors Die Mysteriously in Owerri After Shared Meal, Wine

The Imo State Police Command has confirmed the tragic deaths of two unnamed Nollywood actors in Owerri following a meal and drinks on Friday.
According to a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Henry Okoye, the command has launched an investigation into what has been described as an “unnatural death.”
“Yes, the Command is aware of the unfortunate case of unnatural death. I can confirm that two people were pronounced dead, while two others were hospitalised,” Okoye stated. He further disclosed that the Commissioner of Police, Aboki Danjuma, has ordered a pathologist to conduct an autopsy on the deceased actors to determine the exact cause of death. “The results will determine the next line of action in the matter,” he added.
Reports indicate that the four actors had been at the home of a movie director in Owerri, where they ate rice and sipped wine during a small gathering that also included three women. According to a source, Kaito Karisia, the director retired early while the others continued partying. He later discovered two of the actors dead and the other two struggling to breathe when he got up to switch the power supply.
Karisia, sharing details on Facebook, said the two surviving actors are currently receiving treatment at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Owerri.
One survivor reportedly recalled that all of them had eaten the rice and sipped from a bottle of Calypso and wine, but only the two deceased had finished the drink.
