Unilorin veterinary student shines at National Research Institute
A veterinary student from the University of Ilorin, Damilola Omotade Adeniran, has emerged as one of the shining stars during an internship at the prestigious National Veterinary Research Institute (NVRI) in Vom, Plateau State.
The NVRI, Nigeria’s leading veterinary research institution, plays a vital role in tackling animal diseases, producing vaccines, and ensuring public health.
Over the course of her internship, Adeniran immersed herself in cutting-edge research across NVRI’s viral and bacterial divisions, honing skills in molecular biology, biotechnology, and laboratory diagnostics. Her efforts earned glowing feedback from NVRI officials, underscoring her commitment to excellence.
